WHERE CAN I EAT OUT?.
TThere are so many places to eat in Marrakech, many of which are very close by, from traditional Arabic to Italian. We'll be delighted to point you towards all our favourites places to eat and drink. For a real Moroccan treat, try nearby Dar Yacout, a landmark in Marrakech, opened over 20 years ago and with highly traditional Moroccan gastronomic cuisine.
if you prefer to eat in we can arrange traditional Moroccan meals or we can order a range of reasonably priced take away Pizzas.
Although the water in Marrakech is safe to drink, we recommend bottled water which is widely available.
Is provided free to all our guests,
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE?
It's hot in the summer with July and August temperatures reaching 40 degrees c daily. The Medina is designed for this with tall buildings and narrow streets so it is not as intense as it could be. The most popular are to the lovely, relaxed seaside town and port of Essaouira, where you can ride camels, or Arabian horses along the sweeping beach, watch the fishermen landing their catches, or wander round the delightful souks, snapping up even more bargains. Or there is the Ourika valley or the amazing vistas of the Atlas mountains which are only an hour and a half away.
Another favourite is a horse and carriage ride around all the very best bits of the city. Again, there will be no haggling over the price. We've already negotiated a great deal with an excellent driver.
